San Diego Restaurant Week is back this month with eight straight days of fun hangouts, delicious meals and endless variety.
Foodies from all around will be able to sample over 180 restaurants and eateries in the San Diego area to get a real taste of what California cuisine has to offer. Brunch, lunch, and classic three-course meals will be served at reduced prices, with lunch menu options starting as low as $10 and three-course meal options starting as low as $20.
Diners will find plenty of ways to save, with meal deals that include drinks, appetizers, and other delectable pairings. Most restaurants will also offer visitors the choice to customize their own combinations of entrees, drinks, appetizers, and desserts to ensure that you get to try as many different flavors as possible for a fixed price.
San Diego Restaurant Week is an excellent time to push your cultural boundaries, as well. From Hawaiian to Mediterranean cuisine, all the way to Southern African fare, diners will be certain to stumble across brand new and exciting flavors, as well as some contemporary favorites like Thai and Mexican. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available at most locations.
Feel free to have dessert first and go straight for some Brazilian-style flan from Fogo de Chao, or chow down on a fried chicken sandwich plus fries from The Patio On Lamont. Homemade ceviche from Harley Gray, Blue Crab Cake from The Shores, or a Thin Mint Martini from Vincent’s can all be enjoyed or shared with friends this month.
Participating locations include Downtown SD, Coronado, Little Italy, La Jolla, Hillcrest, North Park, East County, and Mission Bay. To avoid the hassle of parking, consider downloading the Compass Cloud app to get a $5 all-day transit pass on your phone. This is a great idea for large groups, friends, or families enjoying Restaurant Week together.
No passes, tickets, or other coupons are required to participate in restaurant deals. On the contrary, diners are more than welcome to visit their favorite participating restaurants on a walk-in or appointment basis (though we do recommend calling ahead if your favorite location is busy).
