Out on the Mountain Returns with “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Stars Alaska, Ariel Versace, and Mariah Balenciaga

Over 5,000 are expected at Out on the Mountain, the LGBTQ night at Six Flags Magic Mountain, on Friday, September 13 from 6 p.m. to 1a.m. It will be a night of thrill rides including Six Flags Magic Mountain’s world’s tallest pendulum ride CraZanity. Plus, live performances from Alaska (RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2 winner) and Ariel Versace (RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11) along with multiple dance parties with Ray Rhodes and DJ SRO. Hosted by Mariah Balenciaga (RuPaul’s Drag Race).

The entire park goes gay for the night, which provides a safe and inclusive environment for the LGBTQ community.

This 12th-annual event has worked with a number of community collaborators and supported various LGBTQ organizations over the years. This year’s event supports organizations including the Los Angeles LGBT Center, The Center Long Beach, The OUTreach Center, local GSA chapters, and many others.

For this year’s event, Out on the Mountain attendees may come to the park early when the park opens to the general public from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and stay or join when it becomes the private LGBTQ party, Out at the Mountain beginning at 6 p.m.

Attendees will enjoy Magic Mountain’s thrill rides including CraZanity, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis, Twisted Colossus, Full Throttle, Lex Luthor: Drop of Doom, Superman: Escape from Krypton, Batman the Ride, Tatsu, The Riddler’s Revenge, and X2.

ENTERTAINMENT

This year’s entertainment includes some of the top performers around:

  1. Alaska – A bizarre cosmic collision propelled Alaska on to the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and to win RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season 2.
  2. Ariel Versace – Best known for competing on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11. New Jersey’s Life- Sized Bratz Doll knows first hand that when you fall, always get back up. LITERALLY.
  3. Mariah Balenciaga – From Rupaul’s Drag Race season 3, Mariah Balenciaga served as a professor in Rupaul’s Drag U seasons 2 and 3 and hosts this year’s Out on the Mountain event.
  4. Ray Rhodes – Billboard Reporting DJ, remixer and event producer. His remixes can be heard on Sirius XM, top radio stations like Los Angeles’ 97.1 AMP radio, and throughout the world.
  5. DJ SRO – Billboard dance club chart reporter and DJ at Micky’s, Rich’s Nightclub, and Executive Suite Long Beach among others.
  6. Whisper Sixx and Company – This drag troupe performs at events throughout Southern California.
