Dubbed the Gold Anniversary Vanguard Celebration, the incredible evening will begin with an elegant dinner among friends and supporters followed by a star-studded Hearts of Gold concert and multimedia show at the Greek Theatre saluting a half-century of struggles and historic victories of the Center and the entire LGBT community.

To date, the roster of A-list entertainment at Hearts of Gold include: pop icon Sia; singer-songwriter and composer Rufus Wainwright; Tony and Emmy Award-winning actor and activist Lily Tomlin; two-time Academy Award-winning actor and activist Jane Fonda; two-time Emmy and Grammy-winning comedian and activist Kathy Griffin; actor and comedian Nico Santos; comedian Tig Notaro; Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning country artist Ty Herndon; comedian and writer Bruce Vilanch; and a special appearance by Academy Award-nominated Director Lee Daniels

“This will be a show unlike any other, telling the story of the Center and the LGBT movement with pride, passion, and humor,” said Center CEO Lorri L. Jean. “Our 50th anniversary is a historic milestone in the movement for equality and justice. Join us for this singular night of storytelling, music, and entertainment that promises to be a joyous and powerful celebration of our past achievements and future vision.”

One of the nation’s premier LGBT charity events, the Center’s Gold Anniversary Vanguard Celebration’s sit-down dinner brings together more than 1,000 of the region’s most important leaders and influencers in the civic, corporate, entertainment, and philanthropic communities to celebrate the achievements of the world’s largest LGBT organization over the past 50 years.
