How sweet it is! Babycakes is back for good, Hillcrest.

Babycakes just signed a long-term lease as they make their anticipated return to Hillcrest setting up shop only one block from the original location on Fifth Avenue.  The address is 3795 Fourth Avenue (former space known as Pinkberry) at the prominent corner of Fourth & Robinson.

The modern eye-popping space with floor to ceiling windows is an ideal home for Babycakes use as a bakeshop where they will showcase their World Famous cupcakes, cakes, and other baked goods.  As the business model restructured in 2017, they will not bring back the restaurant/bar. However, plans to offer coffee, champagne and frozen yogurt are in the works for the future.

It will be a true celebration destination and hit the sweet spot that has left Hillcrest with a void for over 12 months. And to make things sweeter, simply click a button and have Babycakes at your door via DoorDash, Postmates, GrubHub & Uber Eats.

Their vision is finally coming together as they patiently waited for the perfect location to make their return to Hillcrest.  High demand prompted Babycakes to open a temporary Pop-Up shop inside Fiji Yogurt at the HUB shopping center on University Avenue.  With the new exciting location, it is uncertain if the Pop-Up shop will remain open when they open their doors on Fourth Avenue.

Babycakes continues to thrive at their busy Bakeshop & Coffee House in Imperial Beach backing up to the Pacific Ocean, and cranking out the celebration & wedding cakes/cupcakes at their spacious warehouse Bakery & Sales office in Southeast San Diego. The new location is anticipated to open Fall 2019.
